This lot originated from the collection of award-winning visual effects artist Phil Tippett. ![]() The piece shows signs of wear with as various scratch, scuffs, and cracks due to production use and age but the lot remains in good condition. Several power cables protrude from the bottom construct, one labeled ‘Fan’ and another labeled ‘Panel Lights.’ The entire piece rests atop a black constructed base for display purposes. The body of the vat is crafted of urethane and decorated with faux pumps and pipes rounding the base along with numerous cables which run from the top of the piece and are bound together with plastic ties. Phil Tippett is credited as an Associate Producer and for animation sequences on this title.The puppet brain remains encased in a transparent acrylic vat, suspended by a series of prop wires and circuits along with two exposed eyeballs dangling from the brain itself. After being mortally wounded, Cain’s brain was removed and stored in a vat before being inserted into a hulking robotic body. Cain’s brain from Irvin Kershner’s futuristic sci-fi film Robocop 2.
